thanks for this video! questions: how did the price compare to a princess alaskan cruise of the same length? given that it’s a smaller ship, did you or others experience more problems with seasickness? does oceania go into glacier bay np? appreciate it.

I went on the NCL Encore to Alaska last year from Oct 22-28th, we were one of the last ships of the season and it was amazing. We got so lucky with sunny weather and calm seas the entire time. And because there were not really any other ships, it wasn't crazy busy either. Plus with all the shops closing up after our departure we got some deep discounts on souvenirs. I'm talking like $25 for three shirts, a necklace, a couple shot glasses, a couple magnets. The store was crowded but worth it! Such a beautiful cruise <3

I wear Sketchers slip on shoes and always bring cheap dollar store slippers to change into on longer flights BUT not to the bathroom 😵😬 easy to slip the sketchers on opposed to running shoes.

Hello, thank you for this video, I've been on 2 cruises but that was over 20 years ago and my bf never been. So this video helped. We want to do something different for 2025 than go to Florida. I feel there is more hassle now with jumping on a cruise and selecting what we want to do. Would you recommend, getting a travel agent?

Question. If we booked a salmon fishing excursion on Princess I tried canceling it but they told me since we're leaving in 3 days and the excursion is in 6 days as of today that we have to cancel on board but that will make it 3 days prior to the excursion. Will they cancel it and put it on ship credit which is fine or will I loose the money because it's only 3 days prior to the excursion...thank you

How about the impact of a smaller ship on seasickness potential? The smallest ship we've been on has had 1800 passengers and pretty stable. Bit concerned about movement with such a small vessel.

This is all great info as we'll be on this ship in August.

I wish I had your enthusiasm about flying. It's one of my worst fears, I can't even enjoy knowing I'm going on vacation because the dreaded flight. Traveling to Italy in a couple weeks and I won't be able to relax until I land in Italy. I'm jealous of people like you on planes lol

I'm 6'4 275 pounds. When I get on if the only overhead bins available are behind me I take it because most people grab all the front ones and move back to the rear were there seats are. If there rude enough to do that I just Gronk on back to my bag.
